Espaço ao Cubo proposes interactive workshops, taught by university students, to stimulate students' interest in the space sector. In addition to enriching the school curriculum with a dynamic and engaging activity, your school will be contributing to the development of a CubeSat, a nano-satellite that represents an advancement in space education in Portugal.
Who knows if in the future, the students participating in this Workshop will join us at the forefront of the next generation of satellites?!

Workshop 1: The Business of Space
Duration: 2h | Cost: 3€/student
Space is no longer just for astronauts! This interactive workshop explores how the space economy is growing and opening opportunities for innovative companies – from satellites to space tourism. With dynamic activities, students will create their own space business ideas and discover how to transform technology into profitable opportunities. The future of space could be your next big investment!

Workshop 2: Satellite Systems Engineering
Duration: 2h | Cost: 3€/student
Satellites are complex systems, composed of various subsystems that require specialization. However, technological innovation requires a global vision capable of integrating and balancing all the pieces – this is where Systems Engineers come in! In this workshop, students put on the engineer's hat and face the challenge of designing a satellite, balancing the needs of each subsystem to create a solution. Will they get their project approved?

Workshop 3: Building a CubeSat
Duration: 3h30 | Cost: 5€/student
In this practical workshop, students will build a CubeSat from scratch, exploring its main subsystems. Divided into teams, they will work with electronics, programming, and 3D modeling using real components, from cameras to attitude control systems. They will have the opportunity to get hands-on, learn new skills, and explore, in a simplified way, the fascinating world of space engineering!
